Apologize, I really must----
And certainly do what is just,
For my failure to sing
About the very one thing
That brightens and brings cheer
Whenever I am here.
Now my fears exist no more
As I come through that front glass door.
I get a sunny greeting, a welcome smile,
I know I’ll be with good friends for a while.
The warm hellos form Maria, Carol, and Nancy,
Certainly hearten every man’s fancy,
Charming, disarming and so picturesque,
That’s the warmth that flows from the front desk.
Although going home must be done,
Leaving the girls dampens the fun.
